This dish is perfect for chilly days – it’s warm, comforting, and utterly delicious. Whether you’re a chili novice or an experienced cook, this recipe is sure to please. So fire up the stove and get cooking!

Simply Delicious Chili Ingredients
- 8 cups fresh collard greens, chopped
- 2 TBSP olive oil
- 1 TBSP butter, unsalted
- ¼ cup onions, finely diced
- 1 TBSP fresh garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp vinegar
How to Prepare Simply Delicious Chili
- Blanch the collard greens by putting them into a pot of boiling water for 30 seconds
- Strain the collard greens and quickly transfer them to a large bowl of ice water
- Let cool, then strain and dry the greens and set them aside
- In a large sauté pan on medium-high heat, melt the butter and oil together
- Add onions and garlic, and cook until slightly browned (4–6 minutes)
- Add collard greens and black and red pepper, then cook for 5–8 minutes on high heat, stirring constantly
- Remove from heat, add vinegar, stir and serve
