Anna attended medical school at the
American University of Antigua in the Caribbean. After her schooling, she began her residency in internal medicine at
Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in New York. She became an internist and chief resident. It was during her residency that Anna met her husband, Shree Mulay, a fellow internist.
The new couple moved to Madison, Wisconsin for their fellowship in nephrology. They learned from the best doctors and experts in the field at the
University of Wisconsin. While there, they realized how much information about kidney function and common problems like high blood pressure, diabetes, glomerulonephritis, dialysis, and transplantation is shared by the top physicians there.
At the end of their fellowship, Anna and Shree moved back to West Tennessee. They started working with Dr. Ramakant Mulay. He was a nephrologist who served the community for more than 30 years. When the elder Dr. Mulay retired, Anna and Shree continued the business as The Kidney Experts.
