Kidney-Friendly Taco Seasoning Ingredients

Appropriate for: CKD non-dialysis, Diabetes, Dialysis, Gluten-free, Heart Healthy, Low Sodium, Low Phosphorous, Low Potassium

Serves Five

  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

How to Prepare Kidney-Friendly Taco Seasoning

  • Mix together all taco seasoning ingredients
  • Store mixture in an air-tight container
  • When adding to taco meat, we suggest waiting until the meat is fully cooked before mixing this taco seasoning into it
  • Note: Mixture is good for one year if stored properly
