Learn more about The Kidney Experts, how we got started, our core values, and the any locations that we see our patients!
The Kidney Experts’ history as a kidney care practice starts in the West Tennessee area. Dr. Shree Mulay grew up in Dyersburg, TN. His father, Dr. Ramakant Mulay, practiced as a nephrologist (kidney specialist). He served the community for over 30 years.
Shree, along with his wife, Dr. Anna Lee-Mulay, followed in his father’s footsteps. They provide quality kidney care to the West Tennessee community. To help the growing need to serve the community, the practice began to grow. They now see patients at 4 kidney care clinic locations. They see patients at 17 dialysis units. And finally, they manage patients at 3 West Tennessee Healthcare hospital systems.
To help cover the practice, Clay Walker, PA-C, joined the practice in late 2019. Towards the end of 2020, Clay Walker made the decision to move to Nashville. He went on to join another Nephrology practice. Courtney Roberson, FNP, joined the clinic in early 2020. Lisa Hoehn joined our practice in February 2021 when she moved from Pascagoula, MS to Jackson, TN. She has been part of a nephrology practice for over 5 years. She brings a great experience to our community.

These core values guide the practice. They guide everything we do to care for our patients’ complex kidney disease needs.
We do everything possible to slow down worsening kidney disease. Sometime kidney function declines to the point that further care is necessary. We then focus on kidney transplantation and home therapies. There are options for many patients other than having to visit a dialysis unit 3 times a week.
Finally, we aim to offer the best customer service.
